Apply a small amount of shampoo to the palm of your hand. If your hair is very long and/or thick, use more shampoo. Starting at the nape of your neck and working your way up to the top of your head, apply the shampoo to your roots and gently massage your scalp to create an emulsion or lather. Then rinse your hair.
